P-51 New
« on: April 15, 2018, 12:51:43 PM »

Well here it is the freewing 55 inch Old Crow P-51 Mustang. I think this is going to be great. It has retracks, flaps, lights and I am waiting on a sound card that goes with it. I can't wait to fly it. If I can find a place big enough to fly it. I will be taking video of this one.

Thanks Sobodad. The build was easy, the wiring was a pain in the butt. The wires needed to be longer. But I finally got it. I just have to tweak everything now. I am having trouble finding a place to fly it.

Thanks Dave, I am still looking for a place to fly it. I need to balance now and zero the controls. Got the 4 bladed prop done a few day ago
That was a pain to.

Well there are lots of light poles and the grass is high. I am going to look at it today. If they cut the grass short I would try it. I flew the PT-17 there wasn't good if you over shot the landing. But I will look. Still have to balance it and set controls.
